Zygomatic Implants

While normal implants are between 8-16 mm in length, zygomatic implants are 30-50 mm in length. Only zygomatic implant applications should be performed by professional maxillofacial surgeons.

Cheekbones are the bones that provide sufficient strength for implant application and fixed prosthetic teeth can be made for patients using these long special implants.

It is a technique that requires more knowledge, skill and experience than normal implant applications and can be applied with general anesthesia. In patients with zygomatic implants; temporary teeth, which are previously measured and prepared, are screwed onto the implants on the same day, allowing patients to continue their lives with their teeth.
